Kettlebells:

Kettlebells have been used for centuries in Eastern Europe. They?re great for training the body as a whole with particular emphasis on the core and back muscles. An Apex Center personal trainer can show you how to use them for a challenging and efficient workout. Our professional kettlebell workout will burn fat, increase lean muscle, improve shape, increase range of motion and flexibility, improve conditioning and stamina and help you achieve just about any fitness goal. Kettlebells are exciting, fun and results-producing?perfect for people who are normally bored by exercise!

Circuit/Interval Training:

Prepare to compete in that special event or develop a solid base of fitness. A great time saver, this training develops strength, endurance (both aerobic and anaerobic), flexibility and coordination by challenging multiple muscle groups simultaneously.

Functional Training:

Improve your overall fitness level and be able to perform daily tasks with ease. Functional Training will incorporate dynamic movements to help make climbing stairs, carrying a backpack and lifting objects a breeze!

Sports Specific Training:

Looking to improve your running time, increase your cycling endurance, or put more power into your tennis serve? Sports Specific Training will help enhance your performance by focusing on movements specific to certain sports.

Balance and Core Training:

Our trainers can provide programs to improve posture, coordination and decrease risk of injury by focusing on balance and training the abdominal and lower back muscles.

Rehabilitative Training:

Get support for your fitness prescription and recovery. An Apex trainer can show you safe movement and conditioning activities for your daily routines to make you a healthy, life long exerciser.

Health and Wellness Coaching:

Becoming fit and staying fit can be tough work. Health and Wellness Coaching helps you identify the behaviors you would like to change to bring fitness and wellness into your life. Through a series of face-to-face discussions, you will identify your wellness and fitness concerns as well as goals for overall wellness improvement. Health and Wellness Coaching can be a valuable tool for those who have trouble sticking to fitness or healthy eating lifestyles, people who are intimidated by exercise or work-out activities, and families trying to overhaul living patterns that have contributed to limited exercise, weight-gain or obesity in adults and children.

Senior Integrative Personal Training:

Our Personal Trainers will develop a customized exercise program just for you, based on your needs, goals and limitations. You can expect to:

  • Improve joint function and range of motion
  • Perform activities without getting tired or having pain.
  • Improve your strength, stamina and well-being at any age!
